Concealed Carry Permit Class

This class meets all Ohio and West Virginia State requirements for the educational requirements as set forth by the respective State Law. Please know that Ohio requires a 12 hour class.

NRA Basic Pistol

Meets educational requirements for Concealed weapons carry permits

The NRA Basic Pistol Shooting Course teaches the basic knowledge, skills,
and attitude for owning and operating a pistol safely. This course is at least
12-hours long and includes classroom and range time learning to shoot
revolvers and semi-automatic pistols. Students learn NRA’s rules for safe gun
handling; pistol parts and operation; ammunition; shooting fundamentals;
range rules; shooting from the bench rest position, two handed and one
handed standing positions; cleaning the pistol; and continued opportunities for
skill development. The concealed Carry portion of the class is structured on the Ohio Peace Officer Training Commissions model concealed carry training.

Students will receive the Basics of Pistol Shooting handbook, NRA Gun Safety Rules brochure, state specific informational booklets, state reciprocity maps, numerous additional materials and take a Basics of Pistol Shooting Student Examination and a competency shooting examination. Course completion certificates will be issued to all students that pass the course.

This class meets the educational requirements for Conceal Carry Weapons permits in Ohio, West Virginia and other states.

A $25.00 deposit is required
