Deft-Tac Training is dedicated to providing professional, safe, practical and responsible firearms training. All instruction offered to both law enforcement and the private citizens, is of the highest quality and will meet the particular needs of the individual.

MISSION STATEMENT

Our goal is to provide professional practical and responsible firearms training in the safe and proficient handling of firearms, to shoot effectively while embracing basic fundamental tactics.

NON LETHAL SELF DEFENSE

The non lethal defense course instructs the student in the effective use of pepper sprays as an option to deadly force.

HANDGUN CLINIC

The Deft-Tac Handgun clinic is a one day shooting clinic utilizing for both novice and advanced shooters with an emphasis on developing or improving, hand gun shooting fundamentals and dynamics, deployment, engagement, speed, accuracy and movement

BACK UP GUN (BUG)

OK, the best gun to carry is actually the one you WILL carry. A 1911 style colt 45 will stop them but are you going to carry it while wearing shorts and a T shirt? If you do or want to carry one of the new pocket pistols, you need this course!

COMPETITION PISTOL

Competing in an International Defensive Pistol Association type match is extremely fun and rewarding. This course will prepare you to compete in an IDPA match at a level you are comfortable with. The course is designed to take those who have developed or want to develop a higher level of handgun skills and continue to prefect their abilities through competition.

INTERMEDIATE PISTOL

Whether your interest is personal safety, marksmanship, hunting, or recreational or competitive shooting, the fact is you need to practice and continue to develop your skills. Taking a basic pistol shooting course does not prepare you for real life self-defense situations. If you wait six months, you will have lost most if not all of the skills you learned.

ADVANCED PISTOL

Taking a basic pistol or CCW class is NOT enough to protect yourself or your loved ones. If we have a fault, our basic and intermediate classes might develop a false sense of security. You will 100 times more capable of defending yourself, but that still is not enough.

TACTICAL SHOTGUN

Using a shotgun for self defense provides a highly effective means of avoiding becoming a victim. Even hardened criminals will avoid a confrontation with a shotgun. However just having one is not enough. You must learn to use it to defend yourself while not endangering innocent bystanders or your loved ones.

TACTICAL CARBINE I

This course will introduce you to the beginning stages of operating and successfully executing the skill, knowledge and attitude needed in the proper handling and firing of the carbine.

TACTICAL CARBINE II

This class is a continuation of Tactical Carbine I and is Day Two of a two day course of instruction.
